Perfect if you don't want it to look like you're scrambling to find quick and easy books. Looks long, but everything is very spaced out and it flies by. The Road - Cormac McCarthy: A very well-written interpersonal narrative about a boy and his father in a post-apocalyptic world. Really enlightening stuff regardless of how you take the political spin.
